Multi-Processor Extension
The TerraBuilder Multi-Processor extension allows the user to share the workload
of processing 3D database creation among several computers and/or CPU’s simultaneously.
Multi-Processor Edition enables every computer on a network to be used for MPT creation,
adding distributed computing power to the 3D terrain generation process. TerraBuilder
Multi-Processor Edition reduces your production time by an order of magnitude. The
Multi-Processor extension uses an enhanced compression algorithm to support multi-user
compression, resulting in a dramatic increase in efficiency making it feasible to
process gigabytes of source data into a single 3D database in a very short time
frame.
