Skyline Software Users Conference (2010) - Overview

Please mark your calendars! We are pleased to announce the dates for the 2010 Skyline Software Users Conference. This year’s event, focusing primarily on Military and Intelligence communities, will be held at the Center for Innovative Technology in Herndon, Virginia during the week of June 7th. The conference will encompass a two day plenary portion and two different three day training sessions for interested parties.. This event is open, at no charge, to all government and industry personnel that are either current or prospective users of Skyline's software offerings.

We are very excited to show you the many recent improvements that have been made to our product line, including the recently released of new versions of TerraBuilder, TerraGate and TerraExplorer Pro. In addition to Skyline personnel demonstrating these enhancements, we will also be showcasing several of our customers/partners implementations of the software. These will range from full enterprise architectures to plug-ins created for specific organizational needs.

The first day, June 7th, will be the Skyline presentation portion of the conference. Included within that day will be presentations by corporate leadership, overviews on the Skyline components and architecture, demonstrations and discussion of new capabilities and product offerings, and an open question/answer session.

The second day, June 8^th will primarily focus on Skyline user and partner presentations. These will range from stand-alone based baseline deployments of Skyline components, to large-scale organization wide enterprise architectures. Each session will be presented by knowledgeable government and industry representatives discussing use cases and lessons learned from their experience with Skyline and the overall Defense community. Also being presented is a description and forecast of coming improvements and developments within the Skyline product offerings.

Following the first two days of demonstrations and discussions, we will be running two simultaneous three-day (June 9^th, 10^th, and 11th) training sessions: the TerraSuite Session (TerraBuilder and TerraExplorer Pro) and the SkylineGlobe Enterprise session, focusing on the installation, administration, and maintenance of an enterprise level Skyline deployment. The TerraSuite session will explore the use and capabilities of baseline Skyline components, TerraExplorer Pro, TerraGate and TerraBuilder. The SkylineGlobe session will focus on the installation, administration, and maintenance of an enterprise level Skyline deployment and the customization of the SG API to fit customer specific requirements.
