The TerraGate family of tools is designed to support the client-server data delivery requirements of Skyline's 3D technology. With the TerraGate tools, you can stream terrain databases to remote TerraExplorer users, create 3D snapshots for HTML clients, host for collaboration sessions for TerraExplorer users and enhance web site integration.

TerraGate
The TerraGate terrain streaming server has the capability to deliver 3D terrain databases to thousands of clients simultaneously. The TerraGate server can stream Skyline terrain databases (MPT files) created by TerraBuilder or handle on-demand 3D processing of raw imagery and elevation data (raster) using the DirectConnect extension. In conjunction with TerraBuilder, TerraDeveloper and TerraExplorer Pro, TerraGate makes the digital earth accessible and creates a geo-referenced backdrop for web-based applications.

The TerraGate Manager
The TerraGate Manager is a management and configuration tool allowing the user to control and monitor Skyline server applications, change configurations, view performance and statistics, add maps, etc. The TerraGate Manager controls the TerraGate server components installed on your system.
